Hi!
When you installed java, which version did u install? Chrome needs java 6
update 10
or higher. After the installation, you need to restart the browser for the
changes to
take effect.
I tried to repro your issue, although the getPlugin dialog in Chrome still
displays
"Java platform SE6 U10 (Beta) plugin is not installed..." which is not
right, you
still get redirected to the correct link - which presents java6 update 12
as of the
moment.
Please try the above steps and let me know how it goes.
