I've never ever been able to use Chrome because of the "Aw, Snap!". It has never shown me any sites from localhost to Google to anything. Except for one BigFish.com game. I've uninstalled, re-installed, used all the switches recommended (sandbox, plugins, manual), changed the language of my system and Chrome... It has never crashed, never given out an error dialog. Viewing source showed the source, no errors and no crashes. I read many of these threads and tried everything I thought might be the problem. And you know what made it work? Going to the Chrome Options, setting my default Serif font to Bitstream Vera Serif because I don't have Times New Roman (the default) on my system. So thanks to stefanie.dublin (comment #48) who lead me to the right track.
