This is more a user interaction problem then a display problem, so I'm not sure that screen shots will help. In test shell, clicking the left mouse button once on the <select> list causes the drop-down window to appear very briefly and then disappear. You must double-click the left mouse button on the <select> list before the drop-down window will stay visible.
