Jon, unfortunately it's hard to say.  I'd say most of the time it's a  
problem with
Purify.  However, the fact that the test can't run in Purify also means  
that we're
not testing it for memory errors, so the underlying code may have  
additional problems
that we're not detecting.  Regardless of where the problem is, it's not a  
good thing.
I wouldn't put these into the 2.0 blocker bucket, but they're still  
relatively high
priority.  The big issue with them is that we haven't been able to get them
reproducible for the IBM Rational engineer we've been working with.  If  
anyone can
figure out how to make the crashers reproduce more reliably, that would  
help.
