What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Type ctl-H to get history window
2. Click in "Search History" text box.
What is the expected result?
A vertical line cursor appears, so I know that the application is working
and text I type will appear where the cursor is.
What happens instead?
Nothing.
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
This is a usability issue. The first time I discovered it, I wasted time
clicking in various windows because I thought that Chrome was hanging or I
didn't have focus in that window. I've also typed characters in the wrong
place when editing text.
