New issue 8085 by [email protected]: new tab opened from a parent page doesn't share the same process id with its parent http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=8085 Chrome 2.0.167.0 (10380) What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Launch Chrome with a new session 2. Type in any URL in the address bar, say www.google.com 3. Navigate to any other sub-domain through the main page using Ctrl+Click on the link, which opens the sub-domain in a new tab 4. Launch Chrome Task Manager What is the expected output? There should be two tabs sharing a process id in the Chrome Task Manager What do you see instead? Two separate processes. Did we change the behavior here?
