This happens every single time I try importing search preferences from Firefox 3.0.6. When the import tool freezes, one of Chrome's processes runs at 50% CPU usage (I have a dual-core CPU, this looks like one core stuck in an infinite loop). After doing a full system reinstallation (but with restoring the old Firefox profile), the problem still remains. But if I delete the "searchplugins" folders from the Firefox installation folder AND the user profile, everything works fine (but not useful because nothing gets imported).
