Status: Unconfirmed Owner: ---- Labels: Type-Bug Pri-2 OS-All Area-Misc New issue 8190 by rogerpack2005: Google Chrome Will Not Re-Download a File http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=8190
Chrome Version : 1.0.154.148 URLs (if applicable) : Other browsers tested: Probably all OK What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. download a file and somehow break the download. Have the other end hang up unexpectedly [?] 2. redownload the same file, same url 3. ex: I got this downloading something from sourceforge [clamwin's installer] What is the expected result? It should download you a fresh copy of that file from the server. What happens instead? It resaves the cached [corrupted] copy. Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible. Looks like this is a historic problem. http://www.gearhack.com/Forums/DisplayComments.php? file=Computer/Network/Internet/Google_Chrome_Will_Not_Re-Download_a_File Perhaps fixed in later releases? -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
