no longer highlighted in the inspector

Now after highlighting via the inspector, closing the inspector leaves the
highlight
in place. Pretty annoying.
Steps:
1. Inspect Element
2. Select something in the inspector that highlights an element on the page
3. Close Inspector
Expected:
Chrome view panel no longer has a highlighted element.
Actual:
Highlighting remains.
