Comment #37 on issue 2137 by [email protected]: Roboform Support http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=2137
I use Roboform on multiple PCs and also on my PDA. Roboform enables me to use Firefox and MSIE on any of the computers I'm using and stores the passwords independently of these browsers, and also allows me to sync the Roboform data between the machines, allowing me to have one database across my PCs that is kept up to date at all times - I change a website password on one machine and this change replicates to all machines and will work with whichever browser - Firefox or MSIE - I use. Unfortunately, Chrome is like a red-headed step-child to Roboform - it just doesn't fit in. I can cobble functionality between the tray icon and Google Chrome, but this simply isn't good enough. There's *no* way I'll import passwords and/or save them in one browser as that means that theya re only usable on that one browser on that one machine, and that's just useless for me. So, Roboform not working with Google Chrome means that I cannot use Google Chrome as a regular browser and especially not as a default browser. This is both a functionality and security issue for me. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
