Comment #15 on issue 6186 by [email protected]: Full-page-zoom works
badly in GMail
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=6186
Ojan and I have documented the behaviors at:
https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=24177
There isn't much more to do here. The fix will be in Google's javascript
library.
Now that we've documented the (INSANE) behaviors of the various browsers,
the fix for
Google should be relatively straightforward.
There is nothing more for Chrome to do here. Gmail will fix their JS in the
short-term, and WebKit may adjust their behavior to more closely match
either FF or
IE. I'm not sure that there is consensus yet on what the proper behavior
should be.
This bug should really just be duped against either the internal Google bug
(or the
WebKit bug). Since neither of those are possible, just closing.
