Comment #4 on issue 8099 by [email protected]: Craches frequently
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=8099
Try this:
1. Shut down Chrome and all Chrome Applications you may have running
2. Go to C:\Users\jonc\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data (on Vista)
3. Rename the User Data directory to something else, like "~User Data"
4. Start Chrome
Doing this will create a new User Data directory. Recently we saw a
corrupted User
Data directory causing similar problems.
When you do this all of the data you have, like bookmarks and recent pages,
will not
appear. However, they are still in the "~User Data" directory so you could
switch
back and copy some data over.
Let me know if this helps.
