New issue 8430 by yurkennis: click outside text in textarea doesn't put
cursor to the nearest character

In the textarea, when you click on empty line between two paragraphs like
below, cursor is not focused between the paragraphs--unless you focus mouse
on exactly some character (not whitespace).
Example to demonstrate this -- try copying the text into a textarea and
clicking on the space between two paragraphs:
