OK, the fix for 3845 was to extreme.
We should not always ignore error reports when we have no entry.
In this case we do not need to access the active entry, we'll just show an
interstitial (that was the previous behavior).
Instead, we should probably bullet-proof the ssl_policy to deal with NULL
entries.
I'll do that.
