Comment #15 on issue 6666 by boey.vervoort: Chrome not passing proxy authentication details http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=6666
I am also behind a corporate firewall, and since a few weeks I am getting a this weird problems with Chrome. Each time I start up Crome I keep getting a popup box with title 'Authentication Required' - the message in the popup says "The server proxy at xx requires a username and password". There are username/password fields asking for a login. This happens whenever I try to log into a secure site and it happens on other seemingly random webpages. If I click cancel the page changes to 'Access Denied'. Interesting to know is also that the authentication is required twice for for each tab! I'm also using IE and Firefox, which don't require the same authentication -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
