What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.create a web page with "<"
2.look at the page
3.
What is the expected result?
you should see < because there is no ending ";"
What happens instead?
you see "<"
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
Display of any special character, & and the like should display the
character but without the ";" is should not. This is a problem for me in
displaying a URL like this:
http://www.mydomain.com/index.php?parm1=5&image=7
I get a strange character instead of &image
