marked for EV

From 2.x forward, however all 1.x users will be auto-updated to 2.x when
2.x is
pushed out to stable channel.

Re: check for server certificate revocation, we share that setting with IE.
By
default on new installs (with IE7) that's enabled based on my
understanding. We
talked about changing it if it wasn't set, but I'm not sure if we want to
go changing
system wide settings on users. Perhaps we should consider not sharing that
setting
with IE, given how many users seem to have it turned off and given that I'd
like to
default it to on...

re: the green bar, we've gone back and forth. I'm neither strongly for nor
against
it. Patches welcome (that don't look ugly). Personally, I think what we do
puts the
focus on the right thing - the identity - not just the fact that someone
has proven
identity. I don't care that you have an EV cert (green bar), I do care that
you have
proven you're my bank (Bank of America shows up in right hand side of
address bar).
