Label 'state' in salary calculator is missing

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to http://careers.msn.com/
2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and look at the salary calculator

What is the expected output?
To render the label state

What do you see instead?
state label is missing

IE7/FF3: ok
Chrome1.0.154.48: ok
Safari4/Chrome2.0.169.1: not ok

*** This looks like a regression in Webkit ***
