Comment #2 on issue 8915 by nivea79: Download Area is not opening if there
is no download
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=8915

Nop.

Again: Well, some downloads did not work, sometimes, they have stopped
before they are finished to load, and you are not able to start them again,
I never had a problem like this with firefox - this is the first bug...

... but what I meant in my post, was that if you save a file from
acrobat reader (plugin) for example, Chrome always is saving it per
default in his "download"-folder... (ah... and by the way, there is another
bug,
or wrong behaviour, if I go to "save to desktop" Chrome is nevertheless
deciding to save it under his downloads-folder...)

Thats why I always must go into downloads, cut my downloads out and put
them onto the desktop...

So, again, saving from a plugin like acrobat reader,
... there exists no "offical" download in "downloads-tab".
(Complicated to tell, but in fact easy)

And if you have no download under downloads, you are not
able to OPEN the DOWNLOAD-FOLDER from Chrome, cause he needs
to have a download-file, I don´t know... and if you save a file FROM a
PLUGIN,
for example "Acrobat Reader" the download IS in downloads,
but Chrome does not open it, cause there exists no "offical"
download under the download-tab... (also, difficult to tell, easy thing...)

... all right?

by the way: I love Chrome, keep on your excellent work, it´s really
the nicest browser out there...!
