I don't really care that much about the green bar. The green bar is like  
the lock -
it says you're connected to some website, the identity of that website has  
been
verified (you're connected to the domain name you think you're connected  
to), and
that's about it. The important thing for EV is identity. I would like the  
focus to be
more on drawing the user's attention to *whom* they are communicating with,  
rather
than the mere fact that they *are* communicating.

As such, I kinda dislike the direction of IE with the whole bar being  
green. The
direction FF takes with making green behind the the Organization name  
displayed is
interesting, and I would be supportive of something in that direction.  
(obviously it
would have to fit / look good within our UI)
