Actually, yes, I guess that is a better way to put it. It looks like it will go back into the new window, but it always pops right back out so you can never successfully drop it in. Generally I'm running Chrome, Gtalk, the Wakoopa tracker, ESET NOD32 Antivirus, and Cacheman XP. But I've run those all successfully with other versions of Chrome. (I believe I used the Stable release path on my other two machines.)
