Why are we even discussing this?  It's obvious that there are a lot of  
people who
want to be asked for confirmation when closing a browser that has multiple  
tabs open,
and a lot of people that don't.  Neither side is going to convince the  
other side
that their way is "right".  That's why it should be an option.  I don't  
really care
which way the option defaults.  The people who want the behavior to be  
different will
search down the option.  Even better would be the "don't ask me again"  
checkbox
suggested above.
