I don't fully understand your description, but in general if you have set a  
large
cursor for your arrow cursor we should obey it.  (So that means not  
following
Firefox, I think.)

I think this means that when webkit tells us to reset to the arrow cursor  
we should
restore whatever cursor you normally use -- it maybe involves stashing a  
reference
the old cursor when we change the cursor.
