I should note that I BELIEVE this worked OK in Chrome version 2.0.170.0, and the problem was introduced with version 2.0.171.0. It turns out that, at the moment, the only other past version of Chromium I have installed is 2.0.160.0, which also tested OK... but this isn't to say that an even later version wouldn't also test OK.
