Status: Unconfirmed Owner: ---- Labels: Type-Bug Pri-2 OS-All Area-Misc New issue 9311 by megazzt: FTP support broken, both "old" and "--new-ftp" http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=9311
Chrome Version : 2.0.171.0 (Official Build 12323) URLs (if applicable) : ftp://download.nvidia.com/ is a good test, allows anonymous access Other browsers tested: Microsoft's ftp.exe (Windows XP SP3) What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Open a new tab 2. Attempt to navigate to navigate to any FTP site like above. 3. Wait. What is the expected result? FTP! Something! Anything! What happens instead? Nothing. You could wait forever, maybe something would happen. Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible. FTP.exe is able to connect to the site immediately. Whether the --new-ftp parameter is used to start Chrome or not makes no difference, the site does not load. This is a regression (I know FTP worked at some point to that same server) but I do not know which version it last worked on. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
