Kinda "half-solved". Password is remembered now. However, not all the times it appears entered. And I can't login to Google (neither Gmail nor bugtracker) via chrome due to infinite loop of proxy pop-ups. Note - I'm writing from the FF on the very same network with the same settings Chrome is using.
