Comment #6 on issue 8080 by richardgfeith: Facebook Crashes http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=8080
Has anyone else noticed that the Facebook chat app works completely fine, yet as far as I can tell everything else doesn't work on Facebook. I'm running 2.0.172.2, and I have also tried this on IE 8 beta & Firefox 3.0. On both of those I haven't found a problem with, but when I duplicate my steps in Chrome I have problems. One of the more interesting problems is that other tabs in the same Chrome window will lock up. I am new to developing, so maybe I'm missing something, but Google advertises that Chrome's tabs run separately so that if one crashes all the others don't. However, when I click a link on Facebook Chrome locks up SOME of my other tabs. So what would cause my other tabs to lock up? It is weird because I can't seem to duplicate the tabs locking up. It always seems to be a different tab, and it is not necessarily depended on the tabs location relative to my Facebook tab. Hope this helps in researching this problem! -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
