I also have this issue. as eschrepel pointed out, drop-down boxes and even
the
browser scroll bar don't have arrows on them when this is going on!
During the typing of this message, the arrows have returned for this page,
and when I
scroll the browser on another page, they appear there as well as checkboxes.
VERY WEIRD
