Currently, on Linux we use quad-cores.
For Windows, this means that we should get the tests runnable on Vista
since we have
quad-core Vista machines and don't have quad-core XP machines. This is
issue 6131.
For Mac, we'd need to get quad-core machines, which sounds like it would be
difficult.
