1. This looks like http://code.google.com/p/gears/issues/detail?id=523
The Create Application Shortcut menu uses the Gears shortcut API.
2. This is the current status quo on the Stable channel, and I don't think
it rises
to the level of blocking a Stable update.
Changing the milestone and priority.
@aa: You're the owner/reporter of Gears issue 523. What can we do to fix
this in
Gears? Or should we abandon Gears as a shortcut creator and roll code into
Chrome
itself?
