OK, text is getting dropped in a lot of places. See also issue 9727, issue
9667, issue 9551, and issue 9719.
This regressed at r12606, which is a webkit merge bringing in r41944 -
r41999.
I have two main suspects, but based only on hunches.
1. brettw's r41978, "Fix complex text opacity on the Chromium Windows port."
2. hyatt made lots of changes to deal with overflow and clipping elements
with borders.
I don't know how we've managed to go three weeks with this regression, but
it's something we need to fix ASAP.
