New issue 10600 by v24alluneed: IE 6.0 - doesn't search 2nd character from  
the drop down list

What steps will reproduce the problem?

What is the expected result?
  ex: if i have a drop down in a webpage where i'm trying to search "delhi"
in the state dropdown list, i type "d" on the keyboard and when the type
the 2nd character "e" it takes me to the word starting with "e". but when
i type letters "d" "e" "l" "h" one after the other it should search delhi
but it is not..

What happens instead?
