Status: Unconfirmed Owner: ---- Labels: Type-Bug Pri-2 OS-All Area-Misc New issue 10635 by LSkovgaardL: Selected text in a searchfield only deletes 1 letter at a time. http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=10635
Chrome Version : 1.0.154.53 (Officiel version 11798) URLs (if applicable) : http://mybrute.com/ Other browsers tested: Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue: Safari 4: Firefox 3.x: OK IE 7: OK IE 8: What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Go to url listed above. 2. Write something in the "Already signed up?" field 3. select the text with your mouse, that you just wrote, and press Delete/backspace or write something. What is the expected result? It deletes the text. What happens instead? It only deletes the last letter if you press backspace, and the text isn't selected any more. It doesn't do anything if you press Delete, and the text isn't selected any more. If you type a letter, a number or the spacebar it just stands after the text you did mouseover, and the text isn't selected any more. Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible. You can delete whole the selected text you wrote by selecting it with the mouse, right-click and then those delete. (maybe off topic) If you use Ctrl + A to select the text, it isn't selected anymore if you stop holding ctrl and a down. (it does this to in IE7 though) -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
