Comment #11 on issue 12171 by [email protected]: REGRESSION:
uninstall of Chromium closes Chrome
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=12171
Is there a way to get ride of this ?? This is really hammering so many
times in a day
and very annoying.
I keep open Chrome (mostly DEV) for my daily usage with lot of tabs opened
(but not
limited to Gmail Corporate email, crbug.com, etc.,) and I will be doing
fleets by
installing and uninstalling Chromium n.number of times in a day. Every time
(90%), I
do uninstalling Chromium, my Chrome window also will exit automatically. I
guess,
this will happen consistently, if you keep chrome window opened unused for
some time
or Screensaver kicks in.
But, I've not seen this behavior previously.
As Mark said, of course, I can do session restore, but I don't think that
is a real
solution :).
PS: I'm not doing forced uninstall of Chromium and changing the title
accordingly.
