confirmed. Doesn't happen on windows. It appears to be a scrollbar issue.
If you login
to gmail without enough vertical space to display the entire page, you get
vertical
AND horizontal scrollbars (resizing the browser fixes this), despite that
gmail is not
supposed to ever have horizontal scrollbars (except perhaps at very low
widths?). If
you login to gmail *with* enough vertical space to display the entire page,
there are
no scrollbars, horizontal or vertical.
