New issue 14685 by jnat64: no links working in previous tabs from
multi-tabbed browsing
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=14685
Chrome Version : 3.0.190.0 (Developer Build 18795)
URLs (if applicable) : All URLS thus far inclusive to activity
Other browsers tested: Firefox-3.0; firefox-3.5
Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
Safari 4:OK
Firefox 3.x:OK
IE 7:OK
IE 8:OK
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open a new tab on any site
2. Click back to the previous tab while the new one is still open
3. Attempt to click a link from the page
What is the expected result?
Hyperlinks should still work
What happens instead?
No links will work, unless the page is refreshed. I have done this
successfully 15 times consecutive.
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
I used my college site first : my.franklin.edu -- a guest demo option is
available to test without enrollment. I can open anything, but as soon as
I click to another tab and go back to the parent tab, whether the child tab
is left open or not, the hyperlinks are all unresponsive until I reload the
page.
