Sorry for my slow update.
I have submitted my change that partly fixes this issue (a change which
fixes this
issue on a US keyboard) as r19009.
If you are using US keyboards, would it be possible to download the latest
continuous
build from <http://build.chromium.org/buildbot/continuous/linux/LATEST/>
and check if
this issue is fixed on US keyboards?
(I'm writing another change which fixes this issue for non-US keyboards.)
