New issue 15027 by pacehead: Google code search box doesn't execute default form action when pressing Enter http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=15027 Chrome Version : 3.0.191.0 (19012) OS + version : Ubuntu 9.04 CPU architecture (32-bit / 64-bit): 32bit window manager : default URLs (if applicable) : http://code.google.com/p/chromium/ Behavior in Firefox 3.x (if applicable): PASS Behavior in Chrome for Windows (optional): What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Type a query in the search box on Google Code 2. Press Enter to submit 3. What is the expected result? Default form action posts search query (i.e. clicks Search for you) What happens instead? Nothing Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot and backtrace if possible. Works correctly in Firefox 3.5, as far as I can remember also works on IE under Windows. Other sites (such as Ebay) work fine using this method, so I assume it is Google's implementation of the form, or Chrome's intepretation of it. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
