hmm, I thought we have this bug but I couldn't find it any where, anyway,
the problem
here is on some localized OS, English text on some Chrome UI boxes (Like
Find-in-page
box, bookmark manager) is not vertically centered, so the bottom of some
letters like
"y" will be cut off.
1. This issue happens on all Chrome channels and Chromium trunk build.
2. This issue happens on my Chinese XP, Korean XP, seems OK on my Japanese
XP.
3. Changing the localized OS font for "Message Box" to "Tahoma" can fix the
problem,
it is under "Display Properties -> Appearance -> Advanced"
