What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Installing an extension (opening a .crx file)
What is the expected result?
The extension should install ONCE
What happens instead?
The extension installs TWICE
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
Noticed when i tried to re-install the buildbot extension, it appeared
twice.
Uninstalled and then reinstalled the gmail updater to see if the bug
repeated
