New issue 15754 by james.r.meehan: Running Chrome/Linux over Windows NX
client opens windows on Linux host, not on Windows client
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=15754

Chrome Version:
3.0.190.2

OS + version:
On Linux: Ubuntu (standard Google Eng workstation).
On Windows: Vista (fully updated).

CPU architecture (32-bit / 64-bit):
64

window manager:
On Linux: Gnome.
On Windows: NX client.

URLs (if applicable) : n/a

Behavior in Firefox 3.x (if applicable): It works as expected.

Behavior in Chrome for Windows (optional): n/a

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. On Windows, run the NX Client, connecting to a Linux workstation that's
running . Log in.

2. In a Linux shell, run 'google-chrome'.

What is the expected result?
It should open a window within the NX client.

What happens instead?
It opens a Window on the Linux workstation.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot
and backtrace if possible.

Running a Linux Firefox or the KDE browser through the NX Client works
fine.

Possible clue: Google Chrome was already running on the Linux workstation.

Possible clue: I connect to my corp workstation (cmajor) by using a crypto-
card and logging in through dexter, rather than Google Remote Access. (It's
a non-Google Windows machine.) That setup fails for Video Chat in GMail. I
haven't tried this yet using my Google-issued Windows laptop, where I do
run Google Remote Access + Windows NX Client.
