Thanks for the tip, but this changes the way English text looks (Meiryo  
uses Verdana
as its base, whereas I'm accustomed to seeing the English web in Arial.  
Arial Unicode
MS is also a poor choice because it's been developed by font designers who  
are
oblivious to Japanese typography issues (the small tsu, yo, etc. characters  
are
positioned all wrong)).

It really needs to be fixed properly, or at least an option given to  
prioritize
Mincho/Gothic over the Chinese fonts when using the English-US UI.
