Ah, I see. This "works" in Firefox because of domain guessing
(http://www.mozilla.org/docs/end-user/domain-guessing.html).
Domain guessing is not a feature we want to add.
The omnibox should help you out here, though. After one successful visit by
typing
www.mancomun.org into the omnibox, it's now my first autocomplete result
for 'manc'.
Try typing www.mancomoum.org (or other complete address, like
www.2chan.net) into the
omnibox and pressing enter. After that, you should get the right address
suggested
after typing just a few characters.
