Note that popular NPAPI plugins like Flash still work, so correcting the
title.
I haven't tested this yet, but have you tried with just putting nptest.dll
in Mozilla
Firefox\plugins dir and restarting chrome? I don't know much about how the
crx stuff
works, and whether you have it set to work on all pages or just the
extension process.
