What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Add one of the cyrillic layout (Russian for example). You can do it
through gnome keyboard indicator applet.
2. Switch to this layout (through click on the applet)
3. Switch focus from the address bar, try to use shortcuts, CTRL+L, for
example
