New issue 16531 by [email protected]: Redirecting loop in Gmail
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=16531

Chrome Version : 3.0.192.1
URLs (if applicable) : https://mail.google.com, after you log in
(https://www.google.com/accounts/ServiceLoginAuth?service=mail)
Other browsers tested: Firefox 3.5, IE7, Opera 10 beta
Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
   Firefox 3.5: OK
          IE 7: OK
Opera 10 beta: OK

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Load the above mentioned site.
2. Enter your username and password, press "Log in"

What is the expected result?
To smoothly authenticate and then start loading Gmail.

What happens instead?
If you're (not) lucky enough, the browser status bar will begin to say
"Connecting..." "Waiting for www.google.com..." "Connecting..." "Waiting
for mail.google.com" "Connecting..." "Waiting for www.google.com..." (loop)
Until Chrome stops connecting and returns an NET_ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTIONS
(I think that was the name :))

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
