When, encouraged by the posting immediately above, I attempt to reset my home page on Google Chrome for Linux (3.0.192.0-r19969), no joy - I still find myself unable to change it from «about:linux-splash». The procedure followed is that described in my first posting above ; am I doing something wrong ?...
