i was able to reproduce this using chrome 3.0.193.0
but not using 3.0.194.0 (Developer Build 20466)
so apparently it is already fixed for the next release
you can test that yourself by unzipping the following experimental build
archive
http://build.chromium.org/buildbot/continuous/LATEST/chrome-win32.zip
into some temp folder (not replacing your primary install!)
