Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
Safari 4: not tested
Firefox 3.x: OK (resize/move to be on screen)
IE 7: not tested
IE 8: OK (doesn't memorize the closing position when part of the
window is not on screen
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Close all Chrome window
2. Open one Chrome window
3. Move part of the Chrome window out of the monitor with mouse or keyboard
4. Close Chrome with ALT+F4 or Ctrl+F4 or Close button if visible.
5. Open Chrome, it open at the closing position (partially out of the
monitor)
What is the expected result?
To see the whole chrome window.
What happens instead?
Part of the chrome window is not visible.
Primary Bug:
Chrome is allowed to save unsafe window position
Secondary Bug:
On startup Chrome doesn't attempt to correct saved window position when it
doesn't fit the current display settings.
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
Tested on Windows Vista x64 SP2
