CPU architecture (32-bit / 64-bit): 64-bit
window manager : compiz
URLs (if applicable) : gmail.com
Behavior in Firefox 3.x (if applicable):
Behavior in Chrome for Windows (optional):

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open gmail.com

What is the expected result?
normal cpu usage.

What happens instead?
Seeing chromium-browser using about 70% CPU and XOrg using 30%

If I close the gmail tab the cpu usage is back to normal.
